Misleading Pieces
On this page I will present some of the pieces that have been mistaken for Ridgway at times. Where they are attributable to another factory I will state the attribution.
New Hall
New Hall jugs and mugs have been mistaken for early Ridgway sprigged wares. As can be seen from the photographs below they do have a certain similarity. The handle form is, however, quite different.
The mug is 85mm high and 95mm in diameter. The handle protrudes 29mm.
